
Robinson Bluff is an outdoor rock climbing destination just outside St. Louis, Missouri. Apple Core Creative partnered with its developers to build a complete brand platform. To ensure the brand resonated with climbers, we engaged the climbing community, interviewing owners and stakeholders, surveying climbers, and conducting a thorough market comparison. These insights shaped a comprehensive brand plan that defined Robinson Bluff’s positioning, differentiators, voice, and values.
For its visual identity, we created a distinctive logo and brand standards that reflected the spirit of the new crag. We also designed the website, merchandise, dozens of social media graphics, banners, and handouts. We also worked with Terrain Magazine to publish a 1,000-word feature article introducing the destination to the regional climbing community.
Climbing Festival
Several years after the destination was opened, Apple Core Creative was asked to plan its first climbing festival. It was two-days of rock climbing, skills clinics, food and festivities. In addition to planning the details of the festival, we designed all of its promotional materials, reached out to sponsors/donations, got volunteers, managed social media and ran the event.
